Parenting Tips
Helping you raise an adult so that they are productive citizens with confidence and sound decision-making skills to thrive in this world and make a positive impact.
This journey to college is magnificent if you let it. This should be a time that you are proud of when watching your child make one of the most significant decisions of their life. Let them. Watch them. Be their cheerleader, not their critic.
I promise you will be amazed at what they can do, even if you are uncertain.
Let your child drive the process as much as possible.
Listen. It builds trust.
Set a scheduled time to have the “college talk” each week so that it is not unexpected and everyone feels better about the interaction.

Legacy Letter
As your high schooler goes through a reflective period as they navigate the college process, I will challenge you, as a parent, to embrace your own reflective journey this year, too!
As we grow older, we realize that our dash of time is limited and that we do not want to take the people around us for granted. Memories of sharing stories around the campfire, around the dinner table for holidays, or visits with grandparents remind us of the legacies that have been left before us and those that we want to leave for our children and their children’s children. Now is your time to work with Stefanie to write a legacy letter to your child as they transition into adulthood. It is never too late to share their importance to you and what you hope for them in the future.
